The industry that continues to embrace Wi-Fi porn

Consumers are currently blocked from accessing adult content in public areas due to the overwhelming success of promoting the “internet safety” campaign led by advocacy group Enough Is Enough. All patrons in public establishments are restricted from accessing pornography. However, hotels continue to embrace their consumers’ habit.

A hotel is a place where travellers are provided with meals, accommodations, and other services that contribute to their relaxation. Yet sometimes, modern day relaxation still includes getting connected online for many reasons. It is a place where meetings, seminars and other business conferences are held too. Unlike those situated in remote areas, it’s almost compulsory to have Wi-Fi connection in their amenities.

In terms of profit however, the hospitality industry will have a difficult time following the likes of Starbucks and McDonald’s, both of which have restricted access to particular content on their smartphones and other personal devices. Most of the hotels now even provide standard Wi-Fi in each room to cater to patrons who are travelling for business. Lobbies are also transformed into a more work-friendly area to attract younger guests.

Of course, the in-room porn is still available in hotels for those who are willing to pay for it. Some guests still find it easier than setting up the virtual private network (VPN) before accessing porn especially if they are using a company-issued device. Aside from the possibility of getting in trouble at work, it is a lot of work.

What’s your favorite hotel experience? Do you enjoy old-school in-room porn or free internet porn?
