Monte Cahn of Right of the Dot is this week’s guest on Adult Site Broker Talk. 

Monte is the founder and president of RightOfTheDot, LLC, a licensed business and premium domain auction and brokerage firm that provides Internet consulting and advice on new and existing TLD strategy, Contention Resolution Services, board advisement, premium domain market positioning, sales, and services. He’s the former President of SnapNames.com and was the founder of Moniker.com. 

Monte pioneered domain and aftermarket services and started investing in domain names in the mid-1990s. He has promoted, sold, and auctioned premium domains for numerous new and existing TLDs. 

He sold Wallstreet.com for $1 million and Autos.com for $2 million. He sold Porn.com for $9.5 million, the highest-priced domain ever and Slots.com for $5.5 million. Live and online Domain Auctions were his invention. He created industry domain valuations, domain escrow, and Whois Privacy services.

Monte will conduct NamesCon Global Domain Auction again on June 1.

Industry peers voted Monte into the 2010 Domain Hall of Fame.
