When Copious Clicks Means Copious Traffic

Copious Clicks is a Traffic Broker for Casual Dating Traffic and has been around since 2022. However, its founder and owner Nigel Williams, has been in the industry for much longer and brings a whole wealth of experience and acumen into the world of Dating Traffic.

They specialize in premium traffic from direct publishers: email, members area, signup, lastclick, banner, push and tab traffic. All traffic is sold on a cpc basis only and their top clients are dating advertisers that own their offers and super affiliates.

Firstly, we wanted to get to grips with the whole ‘Dating’ vibe and get to know a little more about ‘Dating Traffic’ past, present and future.

What is your history in the business?

My history in this business goes back to 2009 when I started an ad network that had traffic suitable for casual dating. Then in 2016, I had begun my first traffic business called DigiWorld Partners. I had started brokering push traffic for dating publishers. Since then, I’ve grown the business and started Copious Clicks in 2022 which is dedicated to brokering traffic for dating and cams.

When we first spoke you mentioned ‘Casual’ Dating traffic – can you describe the meaning behind ‘casual’ and the difference between ‘Casual Dating Traffic’ and ‘Dating Traffic’?

Casual Dating people are usually not looking for a relationship leading to being a couple. They are looking for a fling, entertainment more than anything else. Casual Dating traffic is driving people with this mindset. As opposed to more traditional dating where people are looking for a life-long companion”.

How long has the online Dating business as we know it existed and what increase have you seen from the start?

As far as I can tell, the business has gone back to the early 2000’s. Of course, since then, there has been an explosion of dating companies that have come to market”.

Did the pandemic see a rise in traffic levels in your sector of the business?

Absolutely! When the pandemic hit, traffic went up 30% with no effort. And now consumer habits have changed, as a result of the pandemic. Online shopping remains at higher than pre-pandemic levels”.

How has the market for Dating changed post pandemic?

I don’t know if it’s really changed post pandemic. I mean, we see more activity. There is more competition in the number of dating sites. However, everyone I know is still in business. Dating is not going anywhere anytime soon”.

In a global market such as that which we see today, can you let us know what countries you primarily work with?

Primarily, I work with Tier 1 countries. US is easily 70% of all the traffic I broker. Followed by UK, DE, AU, CA, FR. Although I do sell traffic to a number of EU countries as well, in total, those countries represent a small percentage”.

Are there any tricks of the trade you are willing to share to boost traffic?

The biggest affiliates and media buyers I know find ways to create their own traffic to sell. This is the way they can afford to outbid their competitors when buying traffic. They will collect the users email or obtain permission to send them a push. Then they sell their email traffic and push traffic. Other methods include selling traffic from their funnels, whether it’s from a secondary offer, back button or pop traffic – just to name a few”.

What conferences/shows do you think you’ll be attending in 2024?

For sure I will be attending The European Summit (TES) in whatever cities they decide to host. This year, it’s Cascais and Prague I believe. I will always attend those.

Then there is Affiliate World. This year in Budapest for the first time (exciting) and always ending the year at Affiliate World Asia in Bangkok – I will never miss that show.

There are also the meetups like Click Bid World where they do shows in Ibiza and other exotic locations. This show is one of my favorites as there is always a very high quality of business people in an environment that feels more like family than anything else.

I will also attend some other conferences in the USA in 2024 like Affiliate Summit & Leadscon”.

Finally, in this world of possibilities, what is your dream job?

My dream is to build up a company of assets. Being in the traffic business, cash flow is great, but creating assets is a whole other ball game. And I want to focus on that as part of the bigger picture”.
