Ash Miller is the Interim Executive Director of The Cupcake Girls. This nonprofit organization provides nonjudgmental support, advocacy, and resources to those in the sex industry and survivors of sex trafficking.
With a mission centered on respect, relationships, and holistic care, Ash is a passionate leader who works tirelessly to empower individuals, dismantle stigma, and advocate for equity and justice. A former primary educator (pre-k-8th grade) for over a decade, that world was swapped for the sex industry in 2013. Since then, she has navigated life as a solopreneur, dancer, content creator, and general creatrix.
Her guiding belief is that bridges must be built across communities and that more diverse voices deserve to be heard in rooms where decisions are made. As a disabled queer femme from a family rooted in advocacy, she carries both personal passion and a wealth of lived experience navigating environments that often exclude or erase people like her.
The Cupcake Girls is a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to providing trauma-informed, holistic care and advocacy for sex workers and survivors of sex trafficking.
Their vision is a world free from sex trafficking, where consensual sex workers can experience safety and empowerment. They lead with a philosophy of unconditional care, placing the goals of their participants at the center while working to challenge systemic stigma.
The organization’s network of advocates, mentors, leaders, volunteers, and resource partners offers a breadth of support designed to help participants thrive across mental, emotional, physical, financial, and relational well-being.
