Kinkycast Welcomes Brittany Wilson of The Dungeon Store

World Wide Web — The Kinkycast.com BDSM educational podcast recently welcomed Brittany Wilson, Brand Manager for The Dungeon Store, a curated shop of BDSM gear.

Woody, the host of Kinkycast began by asking about The Dungeon Store’s history and foundation. Wilson noted how the venture began as an events based business that began to specialize in violet wands and accessories, then rebranded as The Dungeon Store, an online shop with a broader selection of kinky products.

As an avid e-stim enthusiast of electrical play, Woody then asked Wilson about the latest advances in violet wands, like those sold by The Dungeon Store.

“I would say the biggest development is solid state, because that’s created a world where it’s a little bit easier to get into violet wands,” said Wilson. “The price point isn’t as prohibitively high. They’re a little bit more user friendly, so you don’t have to be an electrical engineer to get them to work… That kept a lot of people out of violet wand play, who would otherwise enjoy it.”

The conversation went back to the educational nature of BDSM community events, like at the Baltimore Playhouse and the nationwide gatherings of the Leather community. Woody noted that Wilson and The Dungeon Store is back on the road for events like the recent Frolicon. Both agreed these kinky expositions are essential.

“People need to get out of the house and go to these big, public conventions to learn about these things you’d never imagine you’d be interested in,” said Woody. “Sit in a class that maybe even turns you off and see how other people see it.”

Wilson further elaborated on how personal The Dungeon Store is when it comes to working with their suppliers, who are mostly professionals in the BDSM scene. Then discussed some of The Dungeon Store’s own products handmade in house, like the Split Peaches line of silicone pleasure products.

The Dungeon Store will have a booth at Ropecraft Chicago on Memorial Day Weekend. The rope bondage exposition will feature classes, play parties, kinky vendors, an art show and abundantly more. Convention details can be found at www.ropecraft.net.

In addition, June 2-5, The Dungeon Store will be showing at the Splash hotel takeover in Atlanta, Georgia. On display will be kinky essentials and high end BDSM gear, along with sarongs and vibes for the pool. Couples can find out more at www.splashtakeovers.com.
