           here is no doubt adult is a crowded marketplace. There are literally thousands
       Tof free sites, membership sites, cam networks and tube sites from which a porn
       viewer can choose. It can be very difficult to stand out in a sea of performers and
       models. For this reason, time spent on branding can be invaluable.

        Take  common, everyday  products  like  soda,  beer,  car  insurance,  and  laundry
       detergent. Consider, WHY are you more likely to buy a Coca-Cola instead of Bob’s
       Cola? Or a Bud Light over Starlight Beer? Geico and Tide over Zippies and Clean-Away?

        Because you have heard those product’s names many many times. The companies
       behind those products have spent millions of dollars to build their brands, with name
       recognition as their simple primary  goal. They do  this  because they know that an
       average consumer is much more likely to buy a product whose name they have heard
       before.

        So how does  this apply  to a small porn  company  or  an individual adult model/
       performer? Odds are, you don’t have millions of dollars to blast commercials across
       every media outlet. So how do you get your name out there?

       Social Media To The Rescue


        For  the  first  time  in  history,  an  individual  can  easily  reach
       thousands (or  even millions) of people  using  social  media
       sites like Facebook,  Twitter,  SnapChat,  Instagram,
       and  others.  Lots  of  articles  have already  been
       published detailing the hows and whys of social
       media usage. Suffice it to say that success in the
       adult  marketplace  can be  greatly  increased  by
       effectively engaging social media users.

        But what engagement  techniques actually
       WORK, and what is a waste of time? What does
       “engagement” actually MEAN?

        Truly  engaging  your  social  media  audience
       goes way beyond  simply sharing  photos and
       videos. The amount of time a viewer will spend
       on a post that says “I’m horny! Visit me now!” is
       close to ZERO. Posts that say “Share my photos”,
       “Buy my pics”,  “Join my site”, or  “Send  me
       money”, are all equally USELESS, because no one
       has a vested interest in doing anything for you.
       They don’t know you, and they don’t owe you
       any favors! Never forget these are REAL PEOPLE
       behind those screen names, so treat them like

       ENGAGEMENT = ASK AND ANSWER QUESTIONS

        So,  in simplest  terms,  the correct  way  to
       engage your  audience  is to  ASK and  ANSWER
       QUESTIONS.  “Which  outfit  do  you  like  better   SOCIAL MEDIA
       on me?” “Do you like this hairstyle?” “What are
       your fantasies?” These are all great ice-breaker
       questions on social media sites. When you ask
       a question, you will gain insight into your fans
