(Los Angeles, CA) March 5, 2017 – Photographs taken during production of Bella Vendetta’s The Training of Poe have been selected for inclusion at the 2017 SWOP Chicago Art Show.
The stills, shot by Heartless Productions @heartlessproductionsxxx,will be shown for the duration of the Sex Workers Outreach Program Chicago art show.
“The theme of the show this year is SANCTUARY,” says Vendetta. “And for so many reasons, I felt this film fit right in.”
While the official opening reception is March 15th, the exhibit itself opens on March 8th.
The one-off, framed black and white and color photos featuring the film’s stars, Chelsea Poe and Vendetta herself, will be for sale at the gallery, with 50% of proceeds going towards SWOP Chicago’s very important efforts in creating a safe community for sex workers.
“This art show is by and for sex workers and shows many facets to the individuals within this industry,” says Vendetta. “I think it’s a perfect first place for the photographs to be displayed.”
The exhibit is open to all and being held at the UIC Gender & Sexuality Center, 1007 W Harrison St., in the FlexSpace of the Behavioral Sciences Building (Rm. 183), Chicago, IL.
While it runs until May 5th, everyone is invited for the vernissage or official opener on March 15th.
