Every year, winners are selected based on a combination of deliberation by the AltPorn.net judges panel of editorial and writing staff, as well as votes from fans, models, and producers.
AltPorn.Net has been celebrating alt creativity and the best in alternative erotica, alt.porn, counterculture, subculture, punk, goth, emo, tattooed, and just creatively offbeat sexy cool smut through the media for over fifteen years, and in 2010 started bestowing the AltPorn Awards to honor excellence in alt work produced.
Winners for the 2019 awards will be announced at the live AltPorn Awards event presented by MyFreeCams in Hollywood, California. In addition to the annual star-studded event in Los Angeles, AltPorn.Net produces AltStar magazine.
