problem. Mobility, the ability to be
productive and generate ideas and
express one’s creativity anywhere and at
any time isn’t usually a problem in our
modern age...

And the circumstances don’t really
matter. It could be you want to work on
vacation, or permanently convert your
“office” to an actually mobile setup, or
you’re in between connections during a
move so you have to keep up at a local
coffee shop or even fast food joint.

Normally not a problem, right?

Unless of course you work in and rely on
porn and porn sites.

Unfortunately, all too many public WiFi or
wireless hotspots deploy child-protection
filters and “safe” gateways, preventing adults and
the rest of us from accessing web destinations
considered improper and even dangerous for
unsuspecting minds.

So here are a few tricks and tips for those who need to
work out in the protected world.

The first thing to consider is seating. Always select the
“gunfighter’s seat” - meaning, with your back to a wall or
other obstruction so nobody can see from behind you what is
on your monitor.

The next thing you need to realize is that your work will have to
be local, on your laptop (or even yikes! a public computer!), offline
and all indirect; you just can’t go to any of your sites (let us assume).

And no, using TOR or IP-hiding portals will not work - that’s not
the kind of proxies you will need. First of all, any IP-hiding URLs or
destinations are the first things listed in those databases of sites from
which to protect the innocent.
